Suicide Survivors Support Group

Headquarters provides a support group for people who have lost someone to suicide. "Healing After Suicide" meets every other Tuesday from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Any adult who has lost a loved one to suicide is welcome. Call the center or contact our Director for more information.

Healing After Suicide - Survivors Group Activities

Now:

1. Support group meets every other Tuesday evening
2. Lending library of books and DVD's
3. One-on-one contact with new survivors who have contacted HQCC
4. Email/phone support for survivors by survivors
5. Annual "Freedom of Expression" Retreat

Future:

1. Integrated with local Coroner and First Responders and providing support to survivors immediately after a death by suicide
2. Annual participation in national Healing Conference
3. Survivors Memorial Garden

The center also has a listing of similar groups in other parts of Kansas.
