If You've Lost Someone to Suicide...

While no one can erase the pain of losing someone to suicide, getting the support you need can help. Please be aware that the staff of Headquarters Counseling Center is available 24 hours a day, in person or by phone, to provide support and information for people who have experienced the death of someone close (or other concerns).

You may want to read suggestions about "Beyond Surviving" by Iris M. Bolten, author of My Son, My Son.

Headquarters facilitates a support group for people who have lost someone to suicide, as well as maintaining additional resources on suicide and bereavement- contact us for more information.

The Compassionate Friends has unveiled a web version of a new video After a Child Dies. "We believe After a Child Dies will offer insight, understanding and hope to bereaved parents, siblings, and grandparents, and
to those who care about them." After a Child Dies is now available to view online. Those using Firefox browsers may be unable to view the video and should switch to a different browser.
